High school maiden Sakura Chiyo musters all the courage she has to confess her feelings to her same-year schoolmate, Nozaki Umetarou. Instead of a straightforward answer, she receives Nozaki's autograph and an unexpected invitation - "Would you like to come to my house?” Though puzzled by the unforeseen turn of events, Chiyo, fuelled by anticipation, arrives at Nozaki's residence, only to find manga drafts awaiting her. Unknowingly, she begins to assist Nozaki in shading his drawings. Only then does Chiyo finally realize that Nozaki is none other than the renowned shojo manga artist, Mameno Sakiko. As various characters, each possessing a distinct personality differ, begin to make their appearances, laughter ensues and the hilarity continues to escalate. Amidst all the chaos and comedy, one question remains. Will Chiyo's unrequited love for Nozaki ever bear fruit?
