His time as a jujutsu sorcerer ignited a deep resentment towards non-sorcerers, culminating in a horrific event in which he slaughtered over a hundred civilians in a single night, leading to his expulsion from Jujutsu High. In the prequel, Getou orchestrates a major event known as the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons, forcing him to confront Yuta. Despite being defeated by Yuta and Rika, Getou has a final showdown with Gojo, leading to his demise. However, as the main series progresses, it is revealed that the Suguru Getou depicted isn't really him, but Kenjaku, a thousand-year-old sorcerer who possesses bodies as new vessels.
