Named after and modeled on the Jack in a deck of cards, his name is derived from the Spanish word for a lance (pica).
Pica is depicted armor-clad with a cross-face helmet, possessing a towering stature and wavy hair, and bears the black diamond symbol on his shoulders. He appears rather taciturn and somber, rarely engaging in laughter or smiles. Interestingly, his voice is high-pitched and surprisingly at odds with his size, a fact that often makes him the butt of jokes from his underlings and Luffy. This irks him to no end and he tends to react aggressively when mocked. He had severely beaten Buffalo for his mockery in the past.
Pica is enormous; just the size of his clenched fist is considerably larger than a giant battleship. Even if the size of a gigantic battleship is significantly reduced, Pica’s overall body proportion still outstrips it by far. The marine headquarters, Marineford, is but an island, but Dressrosa is an entire kingdom. A stone giant birthed from the amalgamation of the nation’s topography, Pica’s size is incomparable to that of any giant battleship.
Pica's punch is about as high as a ten-story building, and assuming that the fist itself is about fifty meters in size, Pica's body at this moment is at least nine hundred meters. This ultimate stone fist strikes from the sky, and this earth-shaking attack is already at a natural disaster level.
He leads the "Special Attack Team" of the Donquixote Family, which includes Gladius, Buffalo, and Baby 5. He was a part of the trio responsible for annihilating the Riku Royals ten years ago.
He was already a family member in the early days and had severely beaten Buffalo for his mockery. Thirteen years ago, he moved with his family to Mirelle Island, witnessing Doflamingo shooting and killing his own brother Cora. Ten years ago, he moved with the family to Dressrosa, resulting in the tragic event that occurred ten years ago.
Just as the great battle was about to begin, Pica merged with the surrounding buildings and terrain and transformed into a giant, appearing before Luffy and his comrades. He was prepared to launch a crushing attack on those who opposed the family, but his voice saw him ruthlessly dragged by Luffy. Pica was furious and incredibly upset, his fists larger than houses descended from the sky and immediately destroyed everything.
After a massive battle with Luffy and his underlings, who had been swayed by God Ussop, the punch from the King and the Green Chili Head Cone destroyed the giant Pica's left arm, but as a man of stone fusion, he was unaffected and immediately regenerated his arm to launch a massive counterattack. Luffy launched his Bear Shotgun, smashing Pica's head entirely.
From the arm of the giant, the Pica's real body carrying a large sword drilled out. Pica pulled out a large sword from the ground, causing Luffy to flash to the Bull's body in time, using his massive strength to lift the Bull and avoid Pica's slash. Pica flung a powerful slash again after failing to make the previous one but was blocked by Roronoa Zoro. After Zoro figured out his abilities, Pica was severely wounded. Knowing he could not beat Zoro, Pica hid in the stone and attacked the injured Monster Army, intending to kill King Riku. Eventually, he was killed by Zoro's swords wrapped in Haki, using "One Big Thousand Big Thousand Worlds" and "Three Thousand Worlds" instant kill techniques.
