Viola, one piece character, is an enchantress featuring long brown hair, lovely light-brown eyes, a red flower adorning her head and wearing a Flamenco dancer’s costume with a flower clenched in her teeth, a characteristic trait of Flamenco dancers. She initially served as a villain in the Dressrosa arc and later became a supporting character in One Piece. Viola used to work as a spy and officer for the Donquixote Pirates, specifically part of Pica’s army. She was the sister of the late Scarlett, the aunt of Rebecca, the sister-in-law of Kyros, the daughter of Riku Doldo III – both he and Scarlett once ruled as sovereigns of Dressrosa, hence Viola’s succession as the second queen. Viola became the Crown Princess of Dressrosa – the heir to the throne after Scarlett’s feigned death, at least until her family was disgraced. Viola is a young, slender, curvaceous woman with dusky skin and a talent that matches her beauty. Standing slightly below-average height – a head shorter than Sanji in heels – she has long black hair cascading down to her mid-back with a lock of hair hanging on the left side.

To activate her powers of clairvoyance, she forms a circle by touching her hands with index finger and thumb, thus creating a thin layer within the circle which she places before her eyes to see through objects and read minds. A faint light radiates out when the power is in use. Her powers not only read people's current thoughts, irrespective of the person’s consciousness or honesty, but also expose “naked” bodies in her scope. Though unable to dig into the past memories of others, she can share her own. Viola can also scan a person’s health by looking directly at their bones much like an X-ray and make her tears multiply and harden like steel when compression in the form of a pinch gesture. Normally working as a seer, she can observe a radius of almost 4000 km from her point of view.

She usually adorns a red rose in her hair and wears a white sleeveless Flamenco gown trimmed with purple polka-dots and ruffles, a pair of hoop earrings and purple high heels.

Before she joined the Donquixote Pirates a decade earlier, Viola had much shorter hair, wore a headband and put on a black top with light-colored, ruffled trousers.

Being emotional and romantic like most of the women in Dressrosa, or devious as the people in Acacia if a man betrays. While ostensibly cruel, Viola's actions reflect her deep cynicism. From her experiences with men and her ability to see their insincerity, she has developed a hardened heart, that is until she met Sanji. His honesty and kindness touched her, leading her to help him, consequences be damned.

Viola's nobility extends beyond her regalia, for she sacrificed her freedom to spare her father's life. She displayed a more affable and trusting persona prior to the dethronement of her family, which is evident when she tried to convince her sister to trust Kyros, in spite of his background.
